Revealed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the BAC Mono is now powered by a new 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine developed by mountune, BAC’s official technical partner.  The new engine - derived from Ford’s Duratec unit - produces 305bhp and 227lb ft of torque, which BAC says is enough to get the Mono to 60mph in just 2.8 seconds.

 2016 saw mountune Racing diversify into the Japanese world, working along side the prominent Team BMR in their 2016 BTCC  title challenge.  mountune Racing Technical Director, David Mountain, was approached by BMR Team Manager, and industry friend Alan Cole, in regards to the build of the 2.0-litre turbocharged engines, following the signing of the deal with Subaru UK & Ireland at the end of 2015.
