This months global motorsport results including another championship win!

Another busy month of Motorsport saw the mountune Racing team travel the globe supporting drivers and teams across various championships.

BTCC Round 10: Brands Hatch

The British Touring Car Championship puts out its lights for another year this month in what's been a fantastic season for mountune powered Adrian Flux Subaru Racing, taking a staggering total of 18 podiums, 7 of them on the top step courtesy of team drivers Plato, Cole and their newest addition, Sutton.

Sutton joined the Hertfordshire-based team for their 2017 challenge and has missed out on a podium just once since Round 4 at Oulton Park, putting on an impressive show of skilled driving in his Manufacturer-backed Subaru Levorg.

Sutton had been leading the drivers table for a while and headed into last weekend’s final round with a 10-point lead and a dramatic last race of the last round saw the 23yr old crowned British Touring Car Champion - the youngest since 1966.

The championship victory also marks a return to the top step of the BTCC for mountune Racing, powering a championship-winning team to the ultimate prize in British Motorsport for the first time since Robb Gravett lifted the same trophy back in 1990.

A massive well done to Ash and all the team on their Championship win from all at mountune.

GRC Round 12 - Los Angeles

Los Angeles played host to an intense season finale of the Red Bull Global Rallycross this month, where the mountune powered Red Bull Honda team were out in force looking to add more points to the drivers standings in the final run of the year.

CCTC Round 6 - Ningbo

This month saw the China Touring Car Championship resume at the Ningbo International Speedpark, where wet conditions played a massive part in the weekends races.

The mountune powered Changan Ford FRD team were recently given a Balance of Performance adjustment (Turbo Boost Reduction) due to recent success, and this, combined with a rain soaked track, certainly presented a challenge for the whole team.

BRX Round 9 - Croft

This month, Croft played host to the final round of the MSA British Rallycross Championship.

Kevin Procter started the final race from the middle row making good progress in his mountune powered Ford Fiesta, climbing the grid to take the 2nd podium step. mountune powered Ollie Bennett started the grid higher up in 3rd place and maintained his position to take a third place finish.

Points from the final weekend of racing secured two top-five finishes for mountune Racing in the 2017 British Rallycross Championship, with Bennett in 3rd place and Procter a close 4th, followed by mountune supported Ollie O'Donovan in a well earned 6th place.   Congrats go to all the teams on their 2017 series.
